CWU Annual Conference To Hold H&S Fringe Meeting

CWU’s Health, Safety & Environment Department are holding their annual special health and safety fringe meeting at this year’s CWU Annual Conference 2011 with guest speaker - Shadow Health & Safety Minister Lord Bill McKenzie.

The theme of this event is "Responding to the Coalition Government's Health and Safety Cuts".

Dave Joyce said when announcing the fringe meeting:

“I am pleased to announce the Health, Safety and Environment Department's arrangements for our annual special health and safety fringe meeting that has been organised for 2011 CWU Annual Conference and we hope that delegates will take the opportunity to attend our ever popular fringe meeting during the week of conference. The Health and Safety fringe meeting again features a very high profile speaker from the Labour opposition in Lord Bill McKenzie, Shadow Health and Safety Minister.”
 
Health & Safety Lunch Time Fringe Meeting: Monday 23rd May at 1pm in the Solent Hall at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC)

Buffet lunch & refreshments will be provided, so please feel free to come along, listen to the speakers and join in the debate - all welcome!
